Its the silly season and so we focus on the W's conversion to two wheels.
When Matt Seaton of the Guardian mentioned in an article on cycling that George W Bush had taken up mountain biking I didn't really believe him. So I googled it and lo and behold President Bush is indeed a convert to a two wheeled, oil free mode of transport, Bike Force One if you will, and Outsider Magazine even went on the trail with him. Now, what I'd like to see is an off road race between him...and Michael Moore.

Hmmm: I think Dubya would have no probs beating Mooro - and looks a lot fitter than Hugo Chavez, Ahmedinajad and Putin. However, Fidel Castro's always in his tracksuit these days; perhaps he's training... BTW, to mention my own sport & US presidents, Jimmy Carter was a marathon runner, ran a marathon while President (flanked by security guards). No record of whether he ever challenged the Ayatollah Khomeini to a race.

Good stuff, anyone else practice a sport that is also enjoyed by US Presidents past and present?
