Aerosmith's Pump and Get A Grip albums. Yes, I was thick enough to buy two of them on two seperate occasions. In my defence, I was 12 at the time. ;-)

Robbie Williams, got it as a present from one of my best mates years ago, i have a very strong suspicion that he himself may have gotten it as a present too. (i was holding out for the shy dude from pop idol)

Have a few very uncool cd's in there but I wouldn't necessarily be ashamed of them.
One I'd be kinda ashamed of though would be:
Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavoured Water

Joyride was whopper!!! They had style and choons!
My worst is Manchester United FA Cup single, I think it was 1994
My excuse is I was 13 and Ryan Giggs was dreamy

I know he wants somebody to respond to the whole Turn - antisocial post but I'm not going to dignify that with an answer. As Ollie Cole says "Turn rock like a motherf**ker!" (eyebrowy style).
My most shameful has to be Limp Bizkit - I was young though!

like someone else said - Too Rye Aye is a classic. i love Dexys.
i once bought a Saw Doctors album....it was the lowest moment of my life.*
* = i bought it last year after seeing them play a few times. i listen to it regularly.
i'm not ashamed of my music taste from any period of my life! except maybe that Wet Wet Wet greatest hits tape i picked up in 1994 when i was 12. thanklfully it turned out to be a bootleg and didn't work.

Most shameful is the first record I ever bought - Kriss Kross' opus "Totally Krossed Out".
My defence - I was 10... and it had something to do with the backwards jeans.

Ive just realised that I can better my original claim that Roxette was my most shameful purchase thanks to another thread.
Pray silence for "Bad Hair Day" by Wierd Al Yankovic with such hits as "Amish Paradise" and "The night Santa went crazy".

I really dont mind in fact i wish him well; cos i'll be laughin my head off while he's burning in hell...no trains no planes, no motor cars, not a single luxury, like robinson crusoe..its as primitive as can be....been spending most of my life living in an Amish paradise..."

Ah brilliant! And to think Id nearly forgotten the lyrics.
Not sure about the Yoda song, but it had a song called "Phoney calls" to the tune of the TLC song "Waterfalls", it had "Gump" to the tune of "Lump" by the presidents, and something to do with a dentist and "Hold me, kiss me , thrill me, kill me".
A remarkable talent indeed is Mr Yankovic.

this is the last i'll post on weird al but it sooo owrth it..
TO THE TUNE OF EYE OF THE TIGER
Fat and weak, what a disgrace.
Guess the champ got too lazy.
Ain't gonna fly now, he's just takin' up space.
Sold his gloves, threw his eggs down the drain.
But he's no bum, he works down the street
He bought the neighborhood deli.
Back on his feet, now he's choppin' up meat.
Come inside, maybe you'll hear him say,
Try the rye or the kaiser,
They're on special tonight.
If you want, you can have an appetizer
You might like our silami and the liver's alright
And they really go well with the rye or the kaiser
Never eats while on the job,
He heard it's good to stay hungry
But he makes a pretty mean shishkabob
Have a taste, they were made fresh today
Try the rye or the kaiser
Or the wheat or the white
Maybe I can suggest an appetizer
Stay away from the tuna, it smells funny tonight
But you just can't go wrong with the rye or the kaiser
So today, his deli comes first
Steady dreams of his past days of glory
Goes to the back and beats on the liverwurst
All the while you can still hear him say,
It's the rye or the kaiser
It's the thrill of one bite
Let me please be your catering advisor.
If you want substitutions,
I won't put up a fight.
You can have your roast beef on the rye or the kaiser.
The rye or the kaiser….. (repeat)

I think the worst one I bought was Bon Jovi's greatest hits. I have gotten rid of it thankfully. The most shameful i thing I have now is probably Electric 6, the first one whatever its called but I'll keep it for sheer value of gay bar and Danger High Voltage

The soundtrack to Godzilla, which on reflection isn't that bad. However, I bought it purely for the Puffy Daddy's 'Come with me," which uses the riff from Led Zep's Kashmir.

I can remember LOADS of bosco songs: and not just 'how high am I?' which was popular in the rathmines student ghetto.
a muppet with catchy tunes, androgynous like bowie, own TV show (with a 'magic door' into the HB ice-cream factory or the phoenix park): was bosco in fact the greatest irish pop star ever?
