One of my favourite videos, Instant Street by Deus:

To me, Tom Barman can do no wrong. If you like his videos, check out his directorial film debut Any Way The Wind Blows.

The staple singers clip was pure class.

Seeing as its friday, and theres almost an overdose of really good stuff posted already. Here is something light, involving kittens. if it doesn't make you smile, you're possibly not human. I guarantee you'll be singing this by the end of the day and getting weird looks from people for randomly doing Ninja moves while shouting "FLIP OUT!"

This is probably my favourite music video of all time.
Beautiful, amazing, life affirming and one of the few times a music video could be described as genuine work of art rather than simply a promotional tool. I remember seeing it for the first time in the late nineties. The late Uaneen Fitzsimons used to always play it on No Disco, I taped it one night and watched it over and over. Something really special and unusual about it, the way it is so in tune with rhythm and the emotion of the song itself.

Quint - yes yes yes. About three minutes in, Tom Barman & Craig Ward pass a girl throwing her arms in the air, then they walk down the stairs in slow mo singing together while a bird flutters in the corner, I don't know why exactly but it takes my breath away every time. Uaneen always had taste.

One of the interesting things that keeps appearing on youtube are fan made videos which were not commissioned by the artist, now of course, most of these are just cringeworthy, but some are actually quite good. Like these two.

I think I have this at home. A friend of mine rented it in Xtravision, left it in one of my dvd cases and forgot. Xtravision never got in touch and that was about a year ago. YOINK! I must watch it, sounds good.

Dig that dvd out Floodzer, its bizarre at times and very Belgian but he has a great way of capturing perfect simple moments. I'm realising its impossible to describe this kinda stuff without sounding like a bad film critic, apologies. I'll stick to the day job.

Zombies and Ferraris, does it get any better? ...if you like Justice, you'll probably like this.

    Kavinksy - Testarossa Autodrive

    On a similar 8bit 80s note...

Ural 13 Diktators - The name of the game

..it's enough to make me want to dig out an old amiga with a .mod tracker on it.

That's a great video, Binokular,..love that song, 'Orchestra of Bubbles' is a great album. Lots of great music coming out of Germany, I always feel they're light years ahead of the rest of us. Berlin's Morr Music label is a veritable treasure trove of musical brilliance.

Without meaning to become Cluas's number 1 supporter of Deus videos, I just cannot get the new video for 'Slow' out of my head. A brilliant video that gets under your skin, that group of girls are just mesmerizing, scary overly confident dancing teens. A perfect song too, cannot wait for the new album.

I was only a wee fella when I heard this song, which wasn't a hit - I reckon I saw the video on television only once. Twenty years later, I still remember it word for word, note for note. Only now did I think of looking it up. Apart from the tired old guitar solo, it's absolute indie-pop perfection: fresh sound, infectious melody, catchy chorus, fantastic lyrics.

I'm not going to name the tune or band: see if you know it:

Hee hee... Aidan, that reminds me of the one time I saw the following video on tv, was about 14 years old at a girlie slumber party, oh how we laughed.

I offer to you all the face painted, high pitched rock stylings of Mercyful Fate with their epic "Nightmare Be Thy Name"... I challenge you not to laugh the whole way through:
