The album was brave in a way but I have to agree with you, it's a terrible listen. Awful rubbish altogether. He's touring in Feb alright but I wouldn't hold my breath. A mate of mine is a sound engineer and was in Killarney for his Gleneagles show at the tail end of last year. He said it was dire, Geldof had obviously "had a pint" and was fairly abusive to the meagre audience. Saying that though, he did play a few Boomtown Rats numbers to warm the memory banks. Hit and miss I reckon. Like his solo career in fact.
