I think the bar is ok though. Ok enough for a "fat mid-30s bloke" like myself anyway.

On Dame street there opposie dublin castle there are 2 pubs that are linked, thomas reeds, and the oak. The club part is down stairs in the oak pub. but you can get to it through either of the pubs

I like thomas reeds alright, but the oak seems to be a bit of an old mans pub, is it not. As for downstairs, ive been there a few times, but its always been empty enough and with a distinct smell of vomit. Am I talking about the same place here???

YEah, I think youve got the right spot. But it may have only been a bad night that you caught the vomit smell. These days downstairs packs out nicely and theyve just recently put in a proper DJ area.

The Roisin Dubh rocks!!!!! I think Whelans use a tape and the dj is just there to press the 'on' button so that the venue can charge in!!! Anseo is great. How's Sin É now? Haven't been there in a while.

Geoffs is the only decent place in waterford to have a drink. could do with a dj instead of the bar persons choosing the music sometimes
