I heard Lyla and saw the video for the first time at the start of the week. It's a flatline of a song. Nothing really against Oasis, liked the first 2 albums at the time, nearly everything since has bored the arse off me. Lyla is such a one speed, plodding song with a half assed chorus and a one note guitar solo. Most of my favourite bands or artists at least try to vary their work, try to mix it up a bit and surprise people while retaining their identity. That's what keeps me coming back to people like Beck and Super Furry Animals. How Oasis' fans haven't become bored after 6 albums of the same kinda stuff, I'll never know.
