Simple request. Did anybody go to see Jackson Browne in the Olympia last friday. If so, what was he like ? I caught him on 'Later with' a few weeks ago and thought he gave a magic performance.

I was offered a ticket and really wanted to go but 65 euro in the Olympia is way too much.

Not only that but The Olympia is a lousy venue with those rubbish bucket seats. Pity he didn't play Vicar Street or The NCH and charge less for the gig. I mean, 65 euros, thats major summer show price. Even so, he is magic.

He is indeed. I saw his performance on Jools Holland that you mentioned, class. Also just throwing on 'For Everyman' album onto my ipod now. Maybe next time, he'll be promoting a new album and then play in Vicar Street. The reasonable price issue is still up in the air though as Neil Young charged over the odds for his last Vicar Street gig.
