So it seems that "Derrick Devine & the Good Ship" have now become "Ellison 9" (mutiny and democratic overthrow on the Good Ship perhaps?! George Bush would be so proud) and The 66 Electric (whose demo & single "I died in a movie" I absolutely love) have become either "Conscience of the King" OR simply "66E" according to recent postings. Can anyone shed some light on the above, and indeed while we are at it, who else has changed their moniker recently (um, Babelfish=Alphastates for one)??

hey john. there was no mutiny i swear - the change just made sense. people kept dropping the good ship out of the equation and referring to us by my name which i in particular wasn't mad about - for a couple of reasons - the main one being there's feckin 8 of us!. also the sound/music's changed a good bit (less acousticsingerysongwritery and more electricguitarrockbandery). we're recording what looks like it's going to be a mini-album at the moment.i'll keep you posted. check out the new site www.ellison9.com cheers derrick oh and i can confirm the 66 electric definately go by the name 66e these days and nothing else. something about a constant electric six mix up.their new single 'scrambled pictures ' is out very soon and a debut album 'fall down seven times , stand up eight' is on it's way too.(plug!)
