    Hot diggedy dang!

A surly stroll into work this morning was considerably elevated by passing a poster for "Foggy Notions presents .....The Wrens," Thursday, February 15th in Whelans.

By the way, if anyone is gonna go to this gig I'm guessing you'll never have seen them before.

You've no idea how big a treat you're in for.

Not sure, haven't really talked to them about that yet. I presume I'll be on the stage at some point that night even if it's just doing the 15 person percussion orchestra thing during Boys You Won't.

I'm waiting on word from Charles about something else so I'll hopefully know more by night's end.

Right, unless absolutely no one else applies to be the 5th wren on one of the songs on the night in which case I'll happily step into the breach I won't be playing with the band on the night.

    I am opening though.

I was gonna go for the 5th Wren thing, but the piano parts are at the very end of the songs, and I just thought it'd be weird to get up for the last 30 seconds of a couple of songs. hahaha, you might end up doing it yet..

Nope, I told them a month ago that I happy enough with just opening but if no one else applied I'd happily step in and play whatever but Charles told me a couple of weeks ago that they've got applications for all parts so I don't need to worry about it.

I'm really looking forward to see them play again.

Yes, i was there and it was a great gig. The band really put their heart and soul into it. 10 out of 10 for pure enthusiasm, exuberance and performance!
