Constant Adventure the new lp from The Flaws, pretty much sums up the way the last few years have been for band. Between the loss of their drummer(Stephen Finnegan) just before the release of their debut lp Achieving Vaugneness. Then the arrival of their new drummer Colin Berril which was followed by a high level of success for the band with their debut lp. However when the calm after the storm came it was back to the drwing board for The Flaws. For the arrival of Colin Berril signalled the end of the direction the band was going in. Colin had previously been in a Dundalk band called The Gurriers who were a punk band & they had some really good songs like "Kids on the street" & "The butterfly song". He also had a spell in LA playing in a band with Travis from Blink 182. Then of course on the other side you had the three original members of The Flaws who up to this point had been used to writting catchy pop classicals like before Achieving Vaugneness they 11/2/2010 5:56:44 PM
