| | It's rather marvelous in places but doesn't quite have the consistancy of the Wolf Parade album.
Krug never stops; to varying degrees he's involved with Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown, Islands, Frog Eyes and he's got a new project as well with Cary Mercer from Frog Eyes and Dan Bejar from Destroyer called Swan Lake. | | | |

Along with Illinois by Sufjan Stevens, I think the Arcade's album is the ONLY classic record of the noughties so far. Most of my aural pleasure this decade has been from discovering music from previous decades (Gene Clark, Dusty in Memphis, On The Beach).
As for Sunset Rubdown? Hasn't The Rapture / Modest Mouse / a dozen other better bands been making this music for the past decade with a great deal more invention and humour?
Who's have thought Robert Smith would be the most influential vocalist of the noughties? | | | |
