It's actually a scientific law that Galaxie 500 do the best covers. And Spacemen 3. And The Feelies. Gotta be some truth to that alright. Probably one of the only bands that could successfully cover New Order, the Velvet Undergound and the Sex Pistols and still make the songs sound like their own. Dean Warehams later band Luna did a sublime version of GnR "Sweet Child of Mine" too.
