The Scissor Sisters' 'Comfortably Numb' is also better than the Pink Floyd original. Van Morrisons version for The Departed is by far the best!
Agreed, excellent cover.. Roger Waters sang lead, Van Morrison sang Gilmour's vocal parts backed by Rick Danko and Levon Helm of The Band, with guitar solos by Rick DiFonzo & Snowy White, and backup by the Rundfunk Orchestra & Choir
