| The dublin ticket price includes a €1 charity fee, as if it wasn't expensive enough. Eoghan you might have got 2 tickets for 50euro but now factor in flights and accomodation! A boycott doesn't work unless everyone does it so Goat Boy you'll just end up miserable on the 5th of March sitting at home watching Questios & Answers. Is a 3rd night a possibilty? I've never done it before but i'm half tempted to buy 2 extra tickets and ebay them, i've just got burned with some tickets lately for gigs i couldn't go to, I feel I'm owed but touting is evil and i hate when people do it. | | | |

| Yes, I probably will be sitting at home miserable on the 5th, and on the 6th! I don't really care whether other people boycott or not, it's a personal thing, I'm just not paying €50.
Would go to Manchester or Glasgow and make a weekend of it but my partner's due to attend the Rotunda around March 14th so wouldn't want to miss the big event ;-).
So spare a thought for me on the 5th!

not sure how true that is but apparently there were none of the usual limits on the number of tickets you could buy...

First date sold out literally in seconds so i went straight back to the main Arcade Fire page and kept refreshing waiting for Tuesday to appear as soon as it did I went straight through and bingo. Hard luck to those who didn't get any i think a lot of people are in the same boat.

Makes the total of €57 you'd have paid for a seated ticket seem like peanuts! People are fcuking crazy, no doubt about it....!

| | Quite frankly I am seriously pissed off at ticketmaster (shock horror) Apparently there was a limit i(f that's what you'd call it) of 20 tickets per person. WHAT THE FUCK???Once again proving they couldn't give a s**t about actual fans and more about offloading to them to the touts as soon as possible. There must be some thing where the ticketmaster ppl are getting a cut from the touts in some way because 20 tix pp is just inviting bulk buying for the filthy excuses of human waste that they are. I'm sure the flaws in my ramblings and accusations will be abruptly pointed but this is moment where they spews forth without regard. This just blows and I am sorely dissapointed. Plus I have an exam in three hours...grr umpa loo | | | |

| MCD are complete c**ts for the way they handled today's sale. 20 tickets at a time? why?
I've suspected for a long time that ticketmaster employees may be in league with touts. I've been to far many low keys gigs where tickets would be plentiful until the last day. Then outside the venue, severl touts with shed loads of tickets.
I reckon when a gig gets close to selling out, a few calls are made to touts.
I bought four tickets today, could've easily bought 20 knowing full well that I would've made a small fortune. I only bought an extra 2 just in case a friend didn't get any, which she didn't

| Well people having a go at ticketmaster is stupid if there is a limit to be set on tickets thats MCDs call. I'm not in the least bit surprised anyway, its not about serving fans, its about making money. Hype generates extra sales, the speed this sells out fuels more hype for other concerts. I agree nerraw about tickets being fed down certain channels that is ticketmasters fault. Imagine some guy working in a ticketmaster outlet somewhere in the country earning crap money and then he's offered backhanders, of course its a massive temptation. | | | |
