sounds like dingle to me 
seriously gar, four hours by train from dublin to tralee and then one hour fifteen minutes by bus to dingle; the church is right in the centre of dingle town, plenty of good cheap hostels crying out for winter business.... gar, you should go! dingle's a brilliant place even without exclusive gigs from some top acts! you'll have a great time!

They're holed up in a church in Montreal right now recording the follow up to funeral and have no plans to play live until next Spring.
just to mention, i heard a strong rumour that Arcade Fire are goin to play the Olympia in Spring. they picked the venue cos of its international reputation. I assume that if this is true, we're more likely to see them at Oxegen than EP | | | |

| | Guy I know mailed the guy who runs arcadefire.net about that rumour. He's pretty plugged in to what the band are up to and said that he's not heard anything about any touring plans, and if they were they were unlikely to start in Europe (the rumour was for February.) | | | |

the olympia?... international reputation?....
definitely can't be true then... a fairly awful place to go to a gig...
