I went to Ladytron 2 weeks ago. Placebo / She Wants Revenge tonight Band Of Horses next week Frank Black the week after that! Not bad at all.

just got my tickets for Jeff Tweedy but I'm off on holiday in a couple of days so I'm going to miss loads :( i will see Figurines and Will Oldham while I'm away but I'm gutted I'll miss Sufjan... again.

great run of gigs... but you have forgotten the two i ammost excited by: ESG (nov 17th - TBMC) Six Organs of Admittance (nov 29th - Whelans) as well as: Cansei De Ser Sexy Acid Mothers Temple Melvins + Big Business + Flipper Dinosaur Jr Bardo Pond all before the end of the year this time last year was ace too... aqs was february this year... dublin is doing really well at the moment

not forgetting The Divine Comedy with Duke Special. oh and Warlords of Pez album launch. and Ill be missing every single one of them except for Final Fantasy this Sunday. I picked the wrong time of the year to go travelling.

ah yes, only one thing is for certain the promoters are rolling in it, the irish public have been whipped into such an entertainment feeding frenzy, admittedly by good acts, that they'll pay any price for any ticket. next big thing intimate show catch before they become massive one night only for the first time in Ireland

I reckon of those I'll go to 7, maybe 8 depending on how good Grizzly Bear are when they open for TVOTR. And that's taking into account the week that I'm going to be out of the country, I assume someone here will be able to top that. Were it not for clashes it'd be in the double digits and as even though I'd like to see him I'm not paying €30+ for Tweedy solo. Much as I'm loath to praise Budweiser due to the pisswater they try to pass off as beer but Budrising does result in some great gigs.
