Thats mad and very sad - i just bought the recent live at the Royal Albert hall CD yesterday and was listening to it last night. Brilliant renderings of 40 year old songs that sound as good and sometimes even better than the originals - eg. the Red Telephone where the final "alla gods children gotta have their freedom" is extended and comes to a spine chilling climax with Arthur Lee shouting "I want my freedom!". He's got a dubious kind of freedom now.
