| | martin finke is based in san francisco at the moment as far as i know...there was talk of a spring 06 gig at the tail end of last year but i think that was changed to a promise* of an autumn 06 gig instead
shins tickets are on sale as we speak!
*please note martin finke may not, in fact, have promised anything, it merely makes me feel better to allude to something more concrete than 'talk of'

Woo-hoo indeed. Saw them in Whelan's a few years ago and they were top notch.
Is there a new Shins' album in the offing? There's certainly one due.

There is, due out later this year. They're playing ATP on Sunday and hopefully they'll showcase some new stuff.

| | Saw damien in whelans last year. brilliant gig. The support band, delorean was amazing as well.
I break chairs is a great jurado album. A real rocky album compared to the others.

| | i missed that gig for reasons i can't recall now which is indication enough that they weren't sufficiently 'life&death' in nature to merit passing the show up.....grrrr
thanks for the recommendation, i need to beef up his section in my collection
