The guy who runs arcadefire.net just posted that it should be out early next year. Probably no shows this year either.

so the rumours of a Marley Park gig and even a Cork gig are rubbish then you reckon?

Yeah, I asked him about the Marley Park/Mozza gig thing a couple of weeks back and he said that it didn't sound likely, and this seems to rule it out completely. And if Marley Park isn't happening I doubt Cork will. Next thing up is that tunnells will be released as a 7'' single in the UK sometime later in the year.

If I have to hear one more album with a member of Arcade Fire in it, giving some kind of 'legitimacy' to its reason for being/release then, well, I don't know, I might just have to buy Guns N Roses tickets.

The Final Fantasy and Bell Orchestre records are both excellent.
