| | I saw Massive Attack at Witness and it was alright - the operate the same stage policy as Basement Jaxx in that even though on record there are a bunch of various vocalists, they generally just have one or two with them live who just do everything. | | | |

| | have seen massive attack a good few times live (last time in the olympia when "Mezzanine" was released) and its not pretty. usually have horace andy and one female vocalist onstage to handle the singing bits that 3-d and daddy g dont do. as much as i love massive attack on record, i really hope theres something better on when they take to the stage at the picnic. | | | |

Dot Allison did all the female vocal parts last time I saw em in the Point in '03. Brilliant gig. She might still be with them for EP.

According to Tom Dunne this week the latest is that they are definitely in the studio recording a new album! Would be some coup if they signed them up for EP. | | | |

| | Wasn't there three headline acts to each day last year? If so, that would mean that there are nine headliners for this year. With Massive Attack, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Gary Numan, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada and Blue Nile (if they are all in fact headliners and not merely signed up), that means there is a possibilty of at least two big headliners still be announced. So maybe we should speculate as to who they might be!!!
