We're looking to book trhe most talented and entertaining bands to play Antics, and we're interested to know who you think are the best of a rather large crop? Are there many bands out there doing something a bit different and pushing creativity?

Hrm, you're aware this will mostly turn into a series of threads where people list off their friends bands? Sorry for the cynicism, but it's a well-worn path by now.

I heartily recommend THE PRESCRIPTIONS. Rock with an indie/country/pop twist!

The Soviet Filter are unforuntately no longer together. Good call on getting the Immediate this week though, good band.; the only time I've been to Antics there was a really terrible band playing so it's a big step up.

Porn Trauma are excellent, really good and fantastic live. And no, I don't know them. Saw them support The Marshals, and the upstaged them.

I could be here all day listing really talented Irish bands. There are tons around right now. Colm Quearney aka Q. He recently released a solo album and does alot of session work with people like Mark Geary.
