It's a great way to keep in touch with bands too what with the comment faciility and all. Every band should be on it, and every music journo too, if only to keep updated and develop a network of similar artists.

myspace saves you tons of time trying to find out where a new band's own website is (google is grand if the band are at a certain size but useless for small acts). well sorted out too and you can tell what bands are making an effort with it.

http://www.hidemyass.com is one i know of anyway. not sure if its any good at all, I cant even get into that site in work. I get a big "Proxy Avoidence" warning pop up. | | | |
