Whatever about the Foos album fair enough, it doesn't have that extra something. I saw them the other night in Melbourne and it was truly a great rawk show. They did pull out all the stops, playing guitar off each other from the opposite end of the hall, drum solos, drummer singing and playing gauitar, Dave Grohl bantering with the crowd and pulling of classic rock poses - all the songs of the new album that were played (Disc 1 only) where fabulous, the lights, pure class.... So whatever about the album, they have it live!!

I wonder what Kurt would think of collaboration with (S)Norah Jones? He goes on about how kids in the future will be asking their music savvy Dads on which is the best Foo's album to buy etc...If my kid asks me that in 20 years' time, I'll tell him before the Foo Fighters there was a little band called Nirvana, I'll dig out the worn out cassette copy of 'Nevermind' from the attic, tell him/her that they were the last great rock band, the last band TRULY meant something, and then watch his/her face as the opening chords of 'Teen Spirit' strike up.........

Jaysus, someone has too much time on their hands. Not only are you listening to too much Today Fm but there must be a hotline between the two of ye. The BIG DEBATE on Ray Darcy now is the ripoff of REARVIEWMIRROR that is Liberty Belle. I'm sorry, not an Autamata fan but she's a very underrated voice and if they were from Scotland they'd be indie favourites now cos generally people are quite shallow. And anything is better that Vedder's howl! (yes I know they had they're moments but I could never forgive them for the teen angst s**te that was Jeremy. From the cabbage patch doll to the foot of the streetcar

Hello children. Tomorrow night on Ze Last Broadcast, like. There's an interview with Brett Anderson about The Tears and his chum Bernard, a profile on Gorillaz, a chat and a choon with Claire Sproule, videos from Elbow, The Doors, The Divine Comedy, The Flaming Lips, U2 and the latest Eyebrowy.... More TV than you can shake a stick at, if that's your idea of a good time.

Does it suck as much big fat donkey d**k as last week's episode? They need to do more with the "pretentious indie c**t" characters.

they should do an eyebrowy where they take the piss out of dave fanning, loads of material there - man who was really, really into music loses his way and his dignity etc. or maybe theres a clause in their contract with the show which forbids launching satirical missiles at such an obvious target..

eyebrowy is so contrived, I mean indie kids taking the piss out of indie kids I'm sure The Slate would have something interesting to say about it all...

No disrespect, but is this some kind of strange new language?

great band .... saw them twice in 2004 the TMBC gig was fantastic, the village one less so. Unfortunately don't think they'll be around these parts for a while, the european tour was cancelled due health problems for Jim James and anyway there was no Irish date this time around.
