...still, watch you don't contradict yourself... you can't say all irish music would make no waves abroad because it's crap and then say the chalets are the worst of the lot (even though they're making the biggest waves abroad)...

| | I'm sort of with Una - didnt really rate them but their new material is good.
Will go to see them in The Brog when they play there. The support band for them will be the big draw for me though - nothing novelty about the Hybrasilian boys - its quality all the way.

| | I have seen the Chalets live twice now, they were very poor on both occasions. The fact is that the girls just cant sing very well at all. And nothing particular struck me about the talents of the rest of the band. Sure the girls look good have a nice 'image' but I think its all style over substance. They may have their 15 minutes of fame but I still think thats 15 minutes too long. | | | |

Saw them at oxegen in 04 and they were fairly entertaining and good fun.
On another point, Totally Dublin hilariously refuses to write anything negative about Dublin to the point of declaring every single pub/bar/club in Dublin as great, terrific, a must visit etc.
