Before that: Nocturama (Nick Cave)
Before that: Mark Lanegan - Scraps at Midnight
Before that: Gary Moore - Power of the Blues,
Before that: A German CD for my oral exams

To be fair,
it woulnd't be hard to give the Alabama guys topmarks.
They have been around forever, I saw them 17 years ago doing a show in New York called Lee Bruer's Gospel at Collonus.

| | Yeah but the point I was making was how good this new cd is. I have one album by Ben Harper but this new cd has certainly made me more of a fan of his.
Everything about this album is perfect.

The Blind Boys could make a dog in pain with asthma sound good.
Culture is decades behind the curve if they are giving this top marks.
You need to invest in their earlier work if you want to know how good they really are.

| | My Dad has two of their earlier cd's so I know what they are like. But I'm just really enjoying this new one at the moment.
Still haven't got the cash yet to get the new Nick Cave one. Anyone recommend it?
