No brass section though.
Probably the best bass player I've ever seen with him.

| | i didnt see him last night but i did see him a few years back in spirit (which was then h.q.!!!) and i rate it up there with one of the best/funkiest gigs i've seen (funkadelic & arthur lee being among the others)

Why don't you write a review of the Dr. John gig for the website? Sounds like it was quite a night and deserves a write up. Get the lead out, deal? And I don't want to hear any of this 'ahh, I could never write one, couldn't do it justice' baloney.
