Did anyone catch the Fountains of Wayne in the Ambassador on Sat night. A Quality gig. Really enjoyed it. The place was packed. Definitely a good decision to move it to the ambassador from the village. The gig was over early enough, but they packed the songs in well. Much rockier live then on the album. I got there early to catch David Mead the support act. And it was f**king cold when i got there. Even David Mead was saying that its the coldest place he has ever played. He was impressive enough but im sure with the full band behind him it would have been much better My only negative was the 25 Euro they were charging for t-shirts. Not a chance mate.

Yeah, Great gig, They rocked the place. They played every song i wanted to hear. Loads of stuff from the first and second album. The crowd were a bit s**t though i must say. It was like being a a school disco with everyone standing around trying to look cool and pretend to look like they weren;t just there cos they knew "stacies mom". Although they did get going a bit in the end. Only downside to the set was that they finished with their worst song "Go Hippie" Its so s**t...
