I particularly enjoyed his pronunciation of "Original Nuttah".

I'd also question deriding the likes of Squarepusher as a "chin-stroking art-crowd" if you're going to set up and then film an installation piece based around a record player, but I digress...

I guess the crux of the issue is based around Zero-G. My understanding is that while the breaks they sell on their compilations are recognisable, they have all been re-played by another drummer, not sampled from records. Therefore they are 'creating' breaks which you purchase a licence to use, rather than sampling from original artists. I may be wrong, but anyone is free to re-play drum breaks and use them in their works. For instance, you could've had a similar dissection of the cultural impact of John 'Jabo' Starks' "The Funky Drummer" break (as played by the JBs), which has featured in countless records from "The 45 King" onwards.
