Yeah, mine was the same.. Bit dissapointed alright... seemed like a great collection of songs. By realsing it again though, they get to charge people for it again...which was the purpose of the whole double cd in the first place

hmmm seemed like a s**t way to get sales up, by asking punters to buy two mags to get both cd's (save the feckin trees n all that) - they should just have release one after the other... at the very least they should put the songs online (or maybe they are there already?)

Yeah what the FUNK was that all about??????? Again this was my only real quibble with the night - there was an initial 'concept' that the whole thing was being sold on - no headline acts, no stage so the bands were the same level as the audience, no bands getting paid, no bands getting more biliing on the posters then others etc etc - sadly it would appear that some bands/acts were paid (on the sly), some bands were headlined with time taken from other bands and blatant lies were made up about 1) the nights being sold out and 2)certain acts rumoured to be playing (in the early stages of promotion) such as the thrills and the frames. Why oh why would they put bands on the cds that did not play and were NEVER playing??? Sadly that kind of ruined it for me - I liked the idea of the night and I think Dublin could do with a load more like it - and fair play them for taking a risk and putting it on, but was there a need for the underhandedness and media jiggery???? Hotpress should have certainly put a cd on two consecutive issues and not made people have to go out and buy 2 editions of the same issue - They've said that they'll be sending out working copies of the 'blank' cds that were circulating but i think you'll have to send in yer broken one in exchange.

Yeah, what where the f*cking Frames and Mundy for that matter doing on the poxy cd. Hot Press actually only became involved in the latter stages of this, our band were meant to play. Myself and another bandmate kinda know the guy, Brian, who was organisin it and he said we were on the bill. As soon as those Hot Press saps got involved we got the cold shoulder and yer man Brian is doing his best to avoid us everywhere we see him in town. Funny La Rocca were on the bill, is it true their manager works in HP??? We f*cking gig our holes off in nearly every one of the 32 counties and get no bleedin recognition for it.
