DEVICES is a series of musical events set up to explore improvisation based on
reference / structural points, focussing on interaction through rhythm and sound.
Devices #1 Guitar Improvisations, featured 4 players. They played from two main themes,
the first being the note of E being played on different strings and secondly individual
notes E,A,D,G. This initial restriction on free playing, which in general is
contradictory to improvisation, resulted in free repetitive melodies and occasional sonic
swarms.

DEVICES website soon.
