| My Bloody Valentine were yesterday confirmed for the Benicàssim International Festival (taking place in Spain from the 17 to 20 July 2008). I guess it'll hardly be the only festival they play this summer so expect further confirmations for further summer dates, with one of them in Ireland.

| | Yeah, they'll definitely play a festival here but I hope they are not seduced by MCD's filthy lucre and end up playing to drunken teenagers in the mud in Kildare which would be too much to bear for this die-hard fan. Besides, most of the crowd will only have been toddlers when their last album was realeased so what would be the point of them playing Oxegen? Hopefully they'll play EP or the mooted Latitude Festival for Belvedere Mullingar or possibly Marley Park.... | | | |
