| "Boyzone are charging 69.50 to see them at the RDS"
Yes - but they're actually performing in the show-jumping arena, on horseback, so it will be quite spectacular. None of your sitting on chairs like those Westlife wasters.

| | I wonder if at Westlife concerts, do the audience stand up off their seats when the band do, at the key changes? Like at mass? | | | |

the 1984 thing was my example... it could be "summer 2001 was modest mouse's moon and antartica where every song holds a different memory and the intro to tiny cities made my heart skip a beat" for you...
you sound like you don't have time for these connections with your job..."
with all due respect, you can't possibly have any idea how I feel when I listen to music, nor whether or not I have the time to feel it.
that is why i'm asking you!... sheesh!
...do you ever listen to an album more than twenty times just because you love it?
i'm not having a dig... i just thought your job might preclude it...

Sounds like a dig to me.. it's a daft f**king question anyway. It's like asking an architect if they still enjoy looking at buildings after 20 years of working on & designing them.
It's not like you're asking Mikey Graham if he still enjoys eating fried chicken after spending the last few years working in Supermacs.
