| | Anyone heard the new single? Absolute tripe. Even before I heard it I knew it was going to be dire, and it is. It's like a really poor copy of 'Lyla', yes- that bad. Noel Gallagher, creatively, is a spent force. After the sheer brilliance of their first 2 albums, the quality of the music since has taken a serious nose-dive.... If only they had split after 'Morning Glory' their legacy would be undamaged and people would be crying out for a reformation, etc...but I think they've ruined their good work with all the rubbish they've released in the last 10 years, just cannot believe how BAD they have become, they're probably one of the worst bands on the planet which is really sad....but check out the new single..its awfulness has to be heard to be believed.... | | | |

| | Never really got Oasis at all.. having said that, I thought "The Importance.." & "Lyla" were pretty decent tunes, though - I agree.. that new one is almost identical to "Lyla".. the video for it shows them on tour, walking around looking tired & yawning & stuff - tongue in cheek or a director seriously taking the piss!! | | | |

| Everything they've done since the second album has been wa*k. A classic case of a band who became too famous too quickly and then pis*ed their talent away. It amazes me that they're still headlining festivals but of course that's only because they're still trading on the first two albums.
