at 40euro? seems average enough these days. I'm surprised tickets are still on sale, thought they'd be snapped up

The cost of the the Jeff solo show tickets (about €30 if I recall) would be what I'd have been willing to pay for a Wilco gig.

These tickets just seem to come out of nowhere, just bought one for Thursday, 45 quid in all (including that mysterious 'service charge'), 45 euro is not too bad, I suppose...it's actually great to be able to get a ticket to see a quality band in a quality venue rather than having to endure some tickets 'gone in sixty seconds' Arcade Fire-type nightmare....

Just what I was thinking. Almost makes you grateful that Wilco slip under the radar a bit, and wouldn't garner so much attention.

I got mine anyway. €40 isn't too bad, but a tenner service charge for two tickets? Ridiculous.

I think it was just €30 or so for a ticket when I saw Wilco in Paris earlier this year... Stephen, Eoghan, something similar when you saw them? And are tickets for bands visiting Australia more expensive because of transport costs, Stephen?

Tickets for their gig in Ghent in May were 27 euros.

The ticket prices in Oz were about $75 i.e. about 40 euros. I'm not sure about ticket prices in Ireland. A good benchmark would be that I saw the Frames on Tuesday night in Sydney for $56.

Have any other nerds bought tickets for both nights? They're worth €90 for sure.
