And for a slice of indie-pop.. The Tiny Masters of the World fairly kick ass. Them, and Fight Like Apes.

only tracks I can listen to on Version are Stop me and Oh My God. Everything else annoys me. Love the Teenagers remix of Simian Mobile Disco - 'It's the Beat'. Awesome.

Both great tracks alright.. the Kasabian, Radiohead & Maximo Park ones, I f**king love, but Robbie Williams doing the Charlatans in just wrong, wrong, wrong.

Not much in the charts this week.. apart from the Gossip of course, in the Irish charts & the new Amy Winelake one in the UK charts. Still haven't hears the new Richard Hawley one though.

Do you mean that "Tonight the Streets are ours" single? Phantom play it a lot in the mornings and it's a wonderful way to start the day, I really like it. If you didn't know better, you'd nearly swear it was the Divine Comedy though.

Aha! I think I might have heard it so.. sounds like a decent Divine Comedy alright - nice description! I generally listen to 6music these days. Must give Phantom a spin again tomorrow.. I always have it on when I'm in the car in Dublin, but it goes out of coverage usually somewhere between Mullingar & Longford which is a pity.

I know you all probably hate it but I just love the chorus in that new Kate Nash song.. very Postal Service vibe off it..

Rihanna's only alright, can't see why everyone's going crazy about her - although 'Shut Up And Drive' is better than 'Umbrella'. Anyway, here's a song I only heard for the first time on the radio last night and it sounded great ("Don't panic panic/don't get too manic manic")- this girl had some cracking singles with her ex-group and these guys she's teamed up with made some fun tunes in the past too:

I think the new Coral album has some lovely pop music on it.
