What a natural musician - blew my socks off! Strange to see a serious 40 something crowd in Whelans. I don't think they've ever sold so much mineral water.

Yeah I was there. The age group was hardly surprising given that most of Squeeze's hits were in the '80's. Personally I was drinking Guinness. It's not the first time I've seen him do an acoustic set - amazing guitarist and he has a good rapport with the crowd too.
