Bloc Party and Clap Your Hands... are both listed for Feb gigs on Ticketmaster, for Ambassador and Tripod respectively. However neither seem to be onsale. What gives? It says Bloc Party was available from 27th Oct. Does this mean its sold out? Also do the Ticket Alerts actually work, im sure ive signed up for alerts on many bands but not heard anything when they announced gigs here.
Any truth to the rumour that Bloc Party suck donkeyballs live? Hope not..anyone seen em?

Yeah I bought tickets for Bloc Party on 27th October. Someone told me a few days before that they were going on sale, but it wasn't widely publicised. Sold out the same day.

Electric Picnic was the first time I'd seen them live and I thought they were great, they made up for the massive crowd and floods of rain. Can't wait to see them in a smallish venue.

saw CYHSY! at Oxegen, they were good enough, hadnt really listened to the album much before seeing them

they did an encore which was cool, but they were clearly pissed off with the sound quality

saw Bloc Party the year before at Oxe, thought they were good

Kele played with my ball (beach that is )

And Tripod is having trouble opening cos their fire door leads into a construction site, and thats a H&S issue right there

I've heard rumours it wont be open til the new year, yet they still keep booking acts and then cancelling, poor form

saw CYHSY in Village earier in the year. Were really good if you knew the songs but the guys voice is very weak and if you were new to them im sure you wouldnt be too impressed. They did do Neil Young 'helpless' as an encore, which was great.
