I've managed to secure an advanced copy of Claus' recently reviewed "Isolation Drills" (Guided By Voices) and I think it's fantastic. I honestly have not heard a straight up, honest, rock&roll format record with consistently well-constructed songs (such as this record provides) in quite some time. The last time I recall enjoying a record as much as this one, would have to be one of those outstanding Pixie's albums (Doolittle/Bossanova/Trompe Le Monde) of over ten years ago. The louder it plays ... the better it sounds.

| | Damien Rice as mentioned above, 'O' is one I'm personally looking forward to, what a beauty. Hes launching it on Thursday night in TBMC, not to be missed, a Take 2 on the night he played in TBMC recently, but should be alot better. I don't think hes recording this one, so it won't seem as rehearsed as his last show.
