| | I've had the good fortune of being able to preview a few up-coming movies... in no particular order...
The Royal Tenenbaums - wonderful new movie by the director and writer of Rushmore. Oscar shoo-in for Gene Hackman, I reckon, and features a lesbian kiss for surprisingly good co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow. Funny, sad, intelligent... you miss it when you leave the theatre.
Ocean's 11 - I love a film that makes you feel cool while you are watching it... see Brad Pitt and George Clooney have fun being movie stars.
Vanilla Sky - for an A-list movie star, Cruise sure makes some weird choices. Born on the 4th of July? Eyes Wide Shut? And now this... a very strange film. But then again, he did meet and seduce Penelope Cruz on-set... so can't be bad.
Ali - solid if unspectacular entertainment. And a must-see for all Ali fans to marvel at Will Smith's transformation...
Trust me... forget about 2001. 2002 will be a wonderful year to be a movie fan...

| | Hmmm...
Nice enough choices except for Vanilla Sky.
While maintaining the likes of Ali etc, how about these:
Spider-Man
Apocalypse Now:Reduxe
E.T.-Special Edition
The Matrix 2
Star Wars Episode 2
Oh and not forgetting the Indiana Jones and Back to the Future Trilogys getting the special edition treatment for the Cinema etc?
Well, just my opinions really.
Cheers
Herve :)
