| | Is Bob Geldof touring in February? What do people think of his new album? I thought it was a bit dodgy, you have to admire his rawness and honesty in dealing with a very personal episode in his life, but I found the songs terrible. Saying that though I'd still like to see him live and hear some of his old stuff. Anyone know of any tour details?

| | The album was brave in a way but I have to agree with you, it's a terrible listen. Awful rubbish altogether. He's touring in Feb alright but I wouldn't hold my breath. A mate of mine is a sound engineer and was in Killarney for his Gleneagles show at the tail end of last year. He said it was dire, Geldof had obviously "had a pint" and was fairly abusive to the meagre audience. Saying that though, he did play a few Boomtown Rats numbers to warm the memory banks. Hit and miss I reckon. Like his solo career in fact.
