| Bass Player required for Dublin based, (mostly) instrumental, three piece band, we're ideally looking for someone in their early to mid twenties.
Influences include:
Explosions in the Sky, Mono, At the Drive-in, Radiohead, Muse, Sigur Ros, Rage Against the Machine, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tool, Pink Floyd, Mars Volta, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth
We play what would be labelled as post rock and we have lots of original material written as well as some new material waiting to have bass added.
We are looking for a creative bass player to slot in and help fill out our sound, the ability to help create soundscapes on your bass would be a bonus.
Our bass player stepped down last moth and we are presently working with a temporary replacement to fulfil our gigging schedule but we need to get the right person in as soon as possible, plans are in place to gig extensively this summer.
We have our own fully equipped rehearsal space, just outside the city centre on the south side.
Some music is available on our Myspace but we are almost finished our first EP so mail me and I’ll try get some higher quality recordings to you
