| | Hi all my name is Alan im the drummer in stoneocean,
basically i have an offer for all the bands out there, we recently had to buy a van for our band and to help us pay our ass raping insurance costs we have come up with an idea/service for fellow bands. I'll try to keep the sales pitch to the bare minimum.
In the past whenever we have had to move our equipment we either paid a couriour or a taxi guy with a big people carrier, we live in celbridge and this cost us for example €120.00 return to temple bar in dublin.. Now everyone knows that its very hard to make money out of gigging in dublin so its a bigger pain in the hole being €120.00 down before youve even had the chance to accidently annoy the sound guy.
God knows how much transport around ireland costs but we were quoted €500 return to cork by a courier.
With this in mind we offer our van to help out bands for roughly half what everyone else wants, its not a charity but its a start that i think is benificial to all involved.
Also as we have found out in the past the s**t tends to hit the fan alot these days and that is why we can collect your gear at the last minute.
Anyways thats the pitch its basically by a band for bands to help all the bands involved.
