hello i am a single white male from north dublin looking for a couple of people to play in a ramones type group doing traditional irish and folk songs. although these songs are usually rendered utterly shite by a bunch of grinning, macho, ra-supporting cunts in cod-irish accents (for fuck's sake, why fake an irish accent if you actually are irish) they are good songs when you hear them played in a straightforward manner with all the diddly-ay shite taken out. i think they could be really exciting and dancable (is that a word?) if they were performed by the ramones or nirvana or some other group who play great and uncomprisingly hooky tunes. fun and friendship guaranteed* *not a guarantee
