| | Can't believe it wasn't sold out and the Upper Circle wasn't even in use. Really outstanding gig, brought a little bit of the Arizona desert to the Olympia. Lots from Feast of Wire and their latest Garden Ruin. Some of the highlights: Yours and Mine, Quattro, Alone Again Or, Not even Stevie Nicks, Guero Canelo (outstanding with the whole audience joining in) Panic Open String, Roka (Jacob Valenzuela providing the Spanish vocals), Across the Wire.
The light show from the projector below us was brilliant, suited each song perfectly, sepia home videos of tree lined avenues and shots of celebrations for Dia de la Muerte. We even had a rendition of Happy Birtday and a cake and candles for Volker Zander, on upright and electric bass. Former Lambchop pedal steel player Paul Niehaus was superb. Really a fantastic night, one of the best gigs in ages, better than I expected and the passion and enthusiasm particularly from John Covertino and Joey Burns was infectious. | | | |

| | Really outstanding gig altogether. Three great bands. Loved yours and Mine, and the visuals were lovely. Wasn't really sure what to expect from them setlist wise, but I was pretty happy with the selection. | | | |

They were incredible last night.. the 2nd album will be really extra special, with a band like that.
AHAAH were amazing too..
And they were all so friendly and excited.
I couldn't stick with Calexico after that dbl whammy. | | | |

I think Una has the Lon Gisland EP which comes with the album in UK/Ireland. I'm gonna try get it on its own, somehow.. import.. | | | |
