Heading to Faithless next Thursday in Marley. Was wondering if any Cluas heads knows any good spots to head to in town afterwards. As far as I know, Thursday nites has been kinda knocked on the head so to speak so people make it into work on Friday. Still, there must be a few late nite places on Thursday in our fair old capital. As you've prob guessed, its been a while since I hit the town on a Thursday nite.

Well, there is always whelans. Thursday nights is one of the better as the music played is not so much off the setlist. But these days, pre college, it can be quiet enough. The Mezz is open till 2.30 - 3.00. Been a while since i was there on a thursday but from memory (or whats left of it) the music was pretty good and twas free in, and plenty to look at.

Head to electric city at Wax for Dj Rohr and Sunil Sharpe. Or the excellent Monkey Tennis at the Thomas House.

Backlash @ Rogue every Thursday is kicking. One of the best clubs in Dublin regardless of what night you're talking about!

Rogue is a funny place, it's neither a bar nor a club and doesn't work when it tries to be either. Not a fan of it I must say.

it looks fairly straight forward to me.. laid back kinda bar upstairs and one of the nicest spaces for a club downstairs.. thursday nights in there are my fav, and it tends to go off big time!! was in the bar on saturday night and the music was so good i never made to the club.. major improvement from wax where bodytonic once held court. glad they made the move id say the queue will be out the door after daft punk.. ********** 1970 **********

I was there in the bar for a while Sat night too. No bouncer grief. Bar staff inside were well friendly. Music was marvellous, though some tracks tended to repeat themselves, jukebox glitch perhaps? Also had some great muted movies on the plasma TV's, saved me having to talk to my girlfriend . Most enjoyable evening, I'll be back....
