I really liked the first one - The Runaway Found. here's the title track from the new record: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/6/20/79662/08%20-%20the%20veils%20-%20nux%20vomica.mp3

Yep, I'm liking that track. Kinda sounds like The Birthday Party meets some noisy rock n' roll Londoners. Good lyrically, too. Who are they?

a very welcome return of The Veils. Finn Andrews voice gets better and better. A seriously good follow up to Runaway Found,Jesus for the Juglar is the best track on the album for me. Just wish they'd get on tour now!

They were around a few years ago Vandala - had an album with a few cracking tracks on it, but it just dissapeared a bit for no reason really. I'll find some more stuff and post a couple of mp3 links.

"your knives are sharp, when you put them in my heart, but the truth you'd say, is i like them there that way" great opening lyrics for an album...."the tide that left and never came back" had such potential to be a massive summer hit off runaway found i always thought and yes, finn andrews has a cracking voice

yeah - it's a great tune. I prefer More Heat Than Light and The Valleys Of New Orleans though. Must dig that album out.
