| Like last year, CLUAS was one of the sites up for consideration for the category of 'Best Music Site' at this year's 'Digital Media Awards'. I just got an email to say that, like last year, we didn't make the grade. Here are the 5 sites that did make the final shortlist for best music site. I provide below a few comments on some of the final choices.
SHORTLIST for 'BEST MUSIC SITE'
- Eircom net music - http://home.eircom.net/music/ (which redirects to a website hosted by OD2, which I observe are not owned by Eircom)
- iTunes Music Store - I observe that http://www.itunes.ie/ does not exist (well, I got an error trying to visit it) and www.apple.ie redirected me to the www.apple.com portal
- Contemporary Music Centre - www.cmc.ie (worth checking out alone for the fabulous photo of a moustache on its home page)
- www.eleanormcevoy.net - nice enough site
- www.rte.ie/lyricfm
