Got married, had children, took jobs in IT - that seems to be the prevailing trend anyhow.

the arse kinda fell apart about 2 years ago or so. they have an album called "mating under the gallows" completed, its mostly outtakes from the distant hearts sessions, and its great, but in their typically lazy manner they've never gotten around to finishing the artwork. they also recorded another album with alan o'boyle, thats currently sitting on a couple of ADAT drives waiting to be mixed. some ace songs on them too, wish they'd get it together. ross, the mainstay of the arse, has subsequently formed a new band called 'the law court of christ', kind of a poppier arse, but no sign of much activity at the moment. truly classic dublin band

u said it. a few dreary records. shambolic live shows. inability to play their instruments. "jokey" band name. indie-schmindie attitude. there'll be another one along in a minute.

the bass player went onto form giraffe running i think, which had a line up of 2 bass players(?) he was also in the damien frost. dudley was sayin that they never finished the artwork but i'm almost sure they did.....there was an album launch up in the guinness store house. they even made the cover of the event guide at one stage.... thats my 2 cents.
