| The first cd in my collection was one that I bugged my Dad for. But it's not the first one I bought. It was the soundtrack to 'Space Jam'
But the first cd that I bought from my very first paycheck was 'Wonsaponatime' by John Lennon. And it is still one of my favourite cd's.

| | I remember persuading my mum to buy me "Mystery Girl" by Roy Orbison when I was about 12 but the local record store had sold out of it so she bought me his older "Best Loved Standards" on Vinyl. The weird thing is, I didn't get around to buying myself a copy of "Mystery Girl" until about a month ago. Listening to it now, I wonder what took me so long!
As far as I can remember though, the first album I bought myself was U2 "Under a Blood Red Sky", still one of my favourite U2 albums after Achtung Baby and Zooropa.

Yeah.
Anyone notice how Zags version of cheesy house classic "I like to move it" is identical to the Real 2 Real original?

| Michael Jackson - Black and white (not sure if that's actually the name of the album but it had that tune on it). I played it until the tape gave up the ghost and killed itself rather than let me listen to it one more time | | | |

That record was "Dangerous". I'm surprised I remembered that.
