| | Hey,
I'm looking for a good Indie/Alternative club to go to tomorrow and/or Saturday. Sick to the teeth of Whelan's. Any other suggestions?

| | Lokking for a club, not a gig. Entertainment Ireland isn't much use. Very sketchy. Just looking for any club, except Whelan's that plays good rock/indie/alternative. Can't find details, but anyone know what's on in TBMC, Isaac Butt's, etc. Fridays and Saturdays. Helter Shelter's not on this weekend, but anything like that would be just the job. | | | |

| | Downstairs in Thomas Reads there is a free night club which i find quite good. Its indie/alternative, one of the few places that plays some pearl jam
its a small venue but its worth a go

| | Andalusia are playing in Dorans tomorrow night which is followed by a DJ set from the Leather Girls which is always a good night for Indie lovers. Otherwise upstairs in the Village has a standard enough indie-type club, though be warned it's a bit dull. Anseo and Sin é are both decent pub/bar types that play indie, though Anseo (Camden Street) closes early enough, think Sin é (on Quays near Custom House/Voodoo) is open til later and has more of a buzzy crowd, some of whom even stop gazing at their shoes long enough to get a dance (shuffle) in...ha ha ha sorry that was mean, i'm joking of course! The Hub (Tempole Bar opposite IFI) also plays indie on weekend nights too. | | | |

| | Cheers. Forgot about Thomas Read's. I've been to that before and it was pretty good. Might go to one of the others for something new though. | | | |

| | as a fan of slightly heavier stuff i find bruxelles (downstairs, the right hand side bar, not the REAL heavy one) to be grand. | | | |
